Our client is an established Australian supplier of design-led interior products for commercial projects. Their sales team is backed by in-house design, estimating and project support, and there's a Brisbane showroom to bring clients through. The commercial side of the business is growing, and this role owns the Queensland market.
The Role
You'll own commercial business development across Brisbane and Queensland. Day to day you're with architects, interior designers, builders, developers and contractors. You find projects early and run them from the first conversation through specification, quote, negotiation and delivery. It's a mix of new business and growing an existing commercial client base. You'll report to the Commercial Manager. The role is hybrid, with a Brisbane CBD base and plenty of time out in the market.
Who We're Looking For
A&D or specification sales in any interior product. Flooring, tiles, lighting, furniture, joinery, wall finishes, acoustics or window furnishings.
Commercial project sales into builders, fitout contractors and developers, where you've held a spec through to site.
Electrical, building products or commercial furniture reps who already have a Brisbane A&D network.
Existing relationships with Brisbane architects and designers are a big plus.
The key is understanding how a commercial interior gets specified and delivered in Brisbane. Whether you've sold into it or worked in it.
Package
$100,000 to $110,000 base + super. Car allowance. Bonus on top. Hybrid, Brisbane CBD base.
