Perth WA (home office) · Up to $140k base + super, fully maintained vehicle, bonus

The Company

Our client is a premium interior solutions manufacturer supplying commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand. They compete on design, technical performance and brand rather than price. Their commercial business runs on specification, working with architects and designers first, then holding that specification through the contractor and end user to completion.

The Role

This is the sole commercial seat in Western Australia and it runs the full cycle. You write the specification with Tier 1 and 2 architects and designers, hold it through installers and contractors and the value management process, grow the existing end user accounts and go and find the new ones. Specification is how you win the work, not the whole job. Core sectors are retail, aged care, social housing, multi residential, education and healthcare. It is home office based with a fully maintained vehicle, reporting to the National Commercial Sales Manager interstate. You will collaborate with the Strategic Account Managers on national accounts, but the WA area is yours to build and run.

Package

  • Up to $140,000 base + super
  • Fully maintained company vehicle
  • Company bonus
  • Standalone state role replacing a long standing incumbent, with existing accounts and pipeline in place

Who We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a few different backgrounds:

  • Specification or commercial sales experience in interior products. Surfaces, acoustics, wallcoverings, ceilings, partitions, joinery, furniture or similar
  • Building products sales people already calling on architects, designers and end users who want a standalone state remit
  • Interiors industry people from estimating, project management or contracting who have been selling in all but title and want the commercial role

The key is understanding how an interiors specification is won and then held all the way to site. Whether you've sold into that world or worked in it.

Interviewing immediately.
