Our client is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor for a premium European architectural lighting brand. Specification-led product sold through a premium showroom.
The Role
You will own the Sydney territory, working with lighting designers and electrical engineers directly on specification, along with architects, interior designers, builders and developers. There is an established customer base to work with, so this is not a cold start. The business is very strong in high end residential and has some excellent commercial wins on the board, with a clear push to grow that side further. You report straight to the Owner.
Who We're Looking For
This one is genuinely high end, so lighting experience is the starting point.
- Sales or specification experience in premium architectural or decorative lighting or commercial lighting
- Lighting design or technical lighting background looking to move across to the commercial side
- A strong A&D specification background from another premium category, where the buyer is the architect or designer, and you have real lighting exposure
The key is understanding how a premium product gets specified and who signs it off. Whether you have sold into that world or worked in it.
Package
$130,000 to $150,000 base + super. Car allowance. Commission on top of base.
